Venesia and NJC

been ages since i've blogged lol. guess couldn't find time or just plain lazy! Anyways... things have been hectic and such, can't believe it, 1/4 of my JC life is over just like that.

Anyways, the day started off with band prac. After doing celts for sectionals, went back to the band room and we got to play STAR WARS. The piece is nice and 3rd clarinets have a soli for duel of the fates, kinda cool. My running notes are crappy though. But fact is, clarinetists have to be able to run, not literally though. Played phantom after tt, a glimpse of the ac band... hopefully it'll get better, i'm sure of it. I think NJ has a strong brass section as in a really strong one. Love their fanfare for victory!

After that, ate lunch at HillCrest coffeeshop, gosh that place is really budget, after that rushed back to school for chem tutorials, which lasted for 2 hours i think.

Getting through gthe 2 hours, Choon Heng, Jun Cheng, Veron, Vick, Kuan Yee and I headed down to Venesia where we gourged ourselves with Ice Cream. $3.80 and every single cent of it was worth it! Best ice cream in Singapore! If I'm rich one day, I'll buy the whole shop and enjoy ice cream non-stop... muahahahha. Went with Veron to buy honey glazed chicken and then went back where we started eating like barbarians. Really looked like a scene from Survivor where we all havn't eaten for days.

Finishing our 'feast' We went over to cold storage to buy more stuff, then Kuan Yee was asking choon heng to walk down the aisle of sanitory pads.... the he was talking about some blue thing or sth lol... Walking out, found out Vick was still a rather innocent guy, though we all know better.

As we were about to cross the road (vick, ch, me), KY, JC, veron called us back, while staring at the drain, so we went back. Peering closely we saw a swarm.... fine school of long kang fish. 100 or more inside the drain, the urge to catch them was nearly unbearable, however, we decided to plan a class fishing trip to this long kang lol. Then we noticed ppl looking at us with weird expressions and then say bring down the rep of our school lol.

After boarding the bus, i checked my phone and found 4 missed calls! They all came from Lester, then i suddenly remembered got PCG meeting today. So I chionged back home and then chionged to jamie's house. Upon my arrival, i was closed to being massacred by Sunshine... jamie's lovely dog. Meeting up with them, we started playing some name game lol... shouldn't have chosen band.

We did on book 6 today, which is on prayer. To pray, we must have thanksgiving, for both the good things and the bad, before confessing and then lastly present our requests. The testimonies today were rather good, especially from our PCG leaders...
really amazing how God works in unseen ways until we realise it. May he guide me through this trail ahead...
