The aura in the room was tense. At the head of the table was General Ardara, Head of Command of the Nikkos Coalition. To my right Hilde sat, the Squadron Leader of the 119th Shadowings. And my left sat Signa, the Head of Intelligence of the Nikkos Coalition. And me, Ash, an expandable espion (espionage operative) in the midst of significant individuals, what the heck am I doing here?

Ardara: Signa, please proceed...
Signa: Yes sir, espions in the nexus canyon have spotted high activity Lirit Insurgent activities. We suspect that they have received a new cache of weapons which would pose imminent danger to our forces at the Delta Outpost. I request permission to send in a task force to destroy the threat at once!
Ardara: Are you certain on the information you acquired?
Signa: Most certainly sir, my infiltrators have deciphered a recent coded transmition of theirs to the Torg Arms Corp. This is what we managed to decode...

At this point, Signa passed an envelope to General Ardara with the words "COVERT INFOMATION" imprinted on it. As Ardara scanned the document, Signa eyed his every expression. My eyes were fixed on them, not daring to move... Ardara then slammed the document onto the table.

Ardara: These ruthless bastards, I have perceived wrongly. Signa, give me the outline of your plan and how you intend to use him

His eyes shifted to me, he stare was that of a war-hardened veteran, eyes that struck ear into any green troop.

Signa: Sir... we plan to...

I regained consciousness, looking around I was on a tree branch. Where the heck was I? The last thing I remembered was getting into a drop pod. I then remembered… shit it was my 1st mission, turning my head I saw silhouettes of men on the opposite branch
“Sir, he’s waking up.”
Hearing that I knew I was with my squad, the 18th Epsilon Rangers, I tried to orient myself again, checking my gear on me, my Plasma Pistol PB-9,

Echoes of booms were heard in the background... that was the signal.
Me: Sir that's the signal, 119th has begun the bombing of Nexus Canyon Major, Delta Company have begun ground assault of Lirit east front. We have ETA 2 hours before retrieval comes.
Kyros: You heard the ass, let’s move out ladies!

"Bastard.... it's Espions not ass..." i thought in my head. Reeves slid down the tree, away from the safety of the foliage cover. He was our scout... soon he'll give us the all clear signal or at least that was what I hoped. With me in the canopy were Kyros, our Squad Leader, Sondra and Conor, all rangers, elite foots soldiers of the Nikkos Forces, who show little respect for an espion...

"Clear" the resounding word came from below. I descended onto the knee-high grass cover below. Sarge gathered us, taking out his holograph.

Kyros: We are about half a click from the side entrance 7A, we have no information on the inside layout since intelligence has been insufficient. After we have broken in, remain on high alert, your negligence will kill you. Make sure this ass is safe at all times…

Me: Sir, with all due respect I am more than what you think of Sir. I believe your duty is to escort me to the side entrance 7A and should it prove difficult for me to enter, create a distraction, and after I have completed my mission, escort me back to drop-off point for retrieval?

Kyros: Listen kid, while you are with us I am in charge, so STFU and let me tell you our bloody situation. After our pods landed, we faced heavy fire and you wimp blacked out on landing. We had to keep you safe carrying you around and I am afraid we are currently low on ammunition saving you sleeping ass. Unlike you we use slug weapons not plasma weapons and we have a limited amount of ammunition we can carry! You green fag, I am sure this is your 1st mission and we have been suffering from your bloody newbie mistakes! If you expect to get out of here, we need to acquire arms or I am sure as Hell you sorry ass will be there.

Okies this is my 1st post in more than a month... dunno wat's happening now in my life, losing focus of everything... EVERYTHING... argh. Anyways life's a war... so gonna go back to my passion of writing... and write something about war...

Band Camp and tune-in

okies... blogging about band camp two days after i got back... really no time to blog

Anyways band camp was pretty fun, practice was quite okay, not say that intensive compared to the ac band camp in march.

The camp had time to bond with more ppl in the NJCSB. The 1st day had the games, and i was in charge of the captain's ball station with wilson and wang zi. The game turned out to be easier than expected lol. Wish i was at the flour or the water station though, could torture ppl lol :p

As for the pieces we are playing... star wars having trouble, but other than that, the rest of the pieces are quite okay except celts mov5 victory, section J. That part is mad..... really really mad....

2nd night was the marathon night. It started with bridge in my room with dian xiang, mei keen, andrew, hara. Played quite a couple of rounds before goin to get snacks with hara... my sleeping bag cover was filled with crumbs after tt.... grrrrr....
we then headed down to the tb blog to hear about the ghost stories and stuff, but really really sian so went into one of the rooms and they started a game of polar bear! best game ever... but gosh... my body couldn't be found.... grrrr... thnx melvin. As the game proceeded think everyone was falling asleep... i knocked out at 530 there lol. And the smiley face on edo's leg... hope he wasn't too pissed about it.

On the 3rd day really half-dead. so just play.... couldn't think about anything. Reaching home, just jumped on to my bed and slept till dinner.

Yesterday was the ac band tune in... i was in the purple group. Can't really remember their names now jia lat. But i knew my mei was with me :)
Then all the ac peeps were goin NJ NJ NJ NJ lol. hmmmm, nice to find out the new comittee, wonder who will be the new comittee in nj. Clarinet section ate at BK, then met XL and siew han there... suay lol.

Just had breakfast with Andrew and Lester at Clementi... hope i get some studying done today..... ciao..

Venesia and NJC

been ages since i've blogged lol. guess couldn't find time or just plain lazy! Anyways... things have been hectic and such, can't believe it, 1/4 of my JC life is over just like that.

Anyways, the day started off with band prac. After doing celts for sectionals, went back to the band room and we got to play STAR WARS. The piece is nice and 3rd clarinets have a soli for duel of the fates, kinda cool. My running notes are crappy though. But fact is, clarinetists have to be able to run, not literally though. Played phantom after tt, a glimpse of the ac band... hopefully it'll get better, i'm sure of it. I think NJ has a strong brass section as in a really strong one. Love their fanfare for victory!

After that, ate lunch at HillCrest coffeeshop, gosh that place is really budget, after that rushed back to school for chem tutorials, which lasted for 2 hours i think.

Getting through gthe 2 hours, Choon Heng, Jun Cheng, Veron, Vick, Kuan Yee and I headed down to Venesia where we gourged ourselves with Ice Cream. $3.80 and every single cent of it was worth it! Best ice cream in Singapore! If I'm rich one day, I'll buy the whole shop and enjoy ice cream non-stop... muahahahha. Went with Veron to buy honey glazed chicken and then went back where we started eating like barbarians. Really looked like a scene from Survivor where we all havn't eaten for days.

Finishing our 'feast' We went over to cold storage to buy more stuff, then Kuan Yee was asking choon heng to walk down the aisle of sanitory pads.... the he was talking about some blue thing or sth lol... Walking out, found out Vick was still a rather innocent guy, though we all know better.

As we were about to cross the road (vick, ch, me), KY, JC, veron called us back, while staring at the drain, so we went back. Peering closely we saw a swarm.... fine school of long kang fish. 100 or more inside the drain, the urge to catch them was nearly unbearable, however, we decided to plan a class fishing trip to this long kang lol. Then we noticed ppl looking at us with weird expressions and then say bring down the rep of our school lol.

After boarding the bus, i checked my phone and found 4 missed calls! They all came from Lester, then i suddenly remembered got PCG meeting today. So I chionged back home and then chionged to jamie's house. Upon my arrival, i was closed to being massacred by Sunshine... jamie's lovely dog. Meeting up with them, we started playing some name game lol... shouldn't have chosen band.

We did on book 6 today, which is on prayer. To pray, we must have thanksgiving, for both the good things and the bad, before confessing and then lastly present our requests. The testimonies today were rather good, especially from our PCG leaders...
really amazing how God works in unseen ways until we realise it. May he guide me through this trail ahead...

Irony of SYF

Today was SYF 2005.... came in the morning and waited for like so long before it was open. Hmmm... things started off not so well lol... like reeds were lost mouthpiece dropped and everything. Then we went to SCH after running thru once. At SCH, we waited and chatted at the lobby before goin to the tuning room. I saw yurong and wei ling in the PJ band.
Coming into the hall the ac ppl were calling me, but haiz... stupid presentation marks, cannot look at crowd. After we got on, sat down and played. I think we held back quite alot. But lucky for us, the judges prefered softer bands this year :p. We didn't watch Mr Ho that much so yea... some parts really lol we finished before his downbeat came.
After performance went back to NJ before goin to lau pa sat to eat before goin back to SCH for results... gosh my section is scandalous also... my class is scandalous... gosh... lol. After talking crap and playing primary school games we walked back in the rain. Then we were all saying we were the wettest band.
Goin in saw Lisa and Simin and chatted to them... great to see them again. After that went back to the NJ peeps and we went up outside the backdoor to wait becoz they allowed only 7 ppl in and we decided to wait as a whole band.
As we waited... the announcer came back again and then started thanking a whole range of ppl which was bloody irritating... and then he made 2 more notices.... prolonged the agony. Then it finally came.... Band number 1... AC.... gold... ... ...
It was just a gold. I was like.... oh my gosh... shit this can't be true, how in the world they only get gold? then la..la..la the other bands...
then it came to NJC.. Band no.7 ... NJC... Gold... WITH HONOURS! I screamed my head off.... really screamed my head off. Really Really Really happy... i really dunno why... but soon AC's results slipped back into my mind. Then it really sunk in... the irony of feelings. During the cheering really felt great for NJ... as in really great. But the stupid thought kept bugging me in my head.
Then walking down out of SCH... i saw tao, william and samuel... gosh... the expressions on them really just broke me, to see my frens like that was just saddening. As samuel as leaning on tao's shoulder gosh... i really didn't know what to say. Really..... haiz.
When i was in SCH with them... somehow the NJ ppl went out... was i there? did they bother whether i was there or not? how long did they even stay out? The NJ band just fragmentted into their own small groups again. Outside the hall saw shermaine. she shaked my hand saying congrats and then walked off... could really tell how she was feeling. If NJ band got a silver or bronze... i really dunno what would happen.
NJ really had nothing to lose... we were expecting a gold yet got a gold with honours which was really a blessing.
When AC band got the gold... it seemed liked they lost alot, they were expecting gold with honours nothing less. But when they got that gold... though sad they were, there was something special there... the AC band spirit. They were all there together... keeping each other up. After that the whole group of them went to Lau Pa Sat and i joined them again. The Band sat as one... enjoyed each other as one... and really was a whole big family. This was precious to me... really precious. Will NJ ever become like that? I really dunno. I hope it does... but NJ does have it's good points also yes?
But NJ... where is your school spirit? Where is your school spirit?
Should i stay in band or should i quit? Haiz...

Debate.... AC again...

I'm bloging once again... and guess by now u all should know what happened... i went back to ac again!

When i 1st reached ac saw ppl playing rugby in the field. CJ vs AC... AC trashed them completely 77 - 3 lol.
I went to the canteen and saw my clarinet section mates... great to see them again, really great. Haha, 1st walked in then Ming Hui started waving franctically lol. After they ate, we went back to the bleachers to watch the game, CJ was getting murdered.

After talking to the band peeps here and there met up with pam and donna to look for XL and Luigi joined us after that. Started crapping with them all over again. Though it was only for 1/2 hour only, really glad to see them again, to spend time with them.

After that went for the debate, was late though but it was sure interesting. The 'B' div one was entertaining with the notion of video playback should be made available to referees, judges etc. in professional sporting events. Nice points from both sides. NJ was slightly better then Dunman.

Tomolo got band prac, after that will be goin out with sc4 again! yea!!!! can't wait goodnite all!

Missing AC

Today i was back in AC again... Movie under the Stars, 2nd one i went to, this time was 'The Incredibles' Super funny especially the 5 minute short of Jack Jack Attacks! Was watching with Terence, Arthur, Wenjun, Simin and Hamtaro... ac band peeps... gosh miss them so much.

Before that went to BK to eat dinner with the 5 of them and Fizzy. And then enjoyed Mango and a Choc Fondue.... lovely stuff... then talked the usual crap and then got branded by Yan Wei.

In school today played with my class captain's ball after PE. My class are fun muggers... ironic ain't it? I dun really know when i can open up to them, or when they can open up to me... it is just totally weird.

NJCSB - band spirit? super super i dunno? non-existant? The whole band isn't together watsoever, ppl just go there practice, talk to the people beside you, and then when band prac is finished, just go home. There are cliques in the band... why don't they get out of their cliques? I dun feel part of the band.... not one freaking bit, i'm just playing my instrument and that's it.

Really MISS AC clarinet section! Lisa, really great SL who made me feel welcomed every practice. Ben, ASL... pro player who never fails to give a helping hand when asking about stuff about tonguing, tone and pitch control and the tien commandments and tienty 2 concepts...

I found some close frens in NJ like Kuan Yee, Qi Yang, Fadhli? But i really dunno... they are close... but not really that close yet...

I hope time will tell and God will reveal his plans for me in my life...

Thoughts and missing

okies... never blogged in a long time, shows u how NJ is like lol.

Anyways, for the past week i crashed AC on wednesday and stayed with my 1st 3 months class 1SC4, u guys roc as always lol, went to do Wayne's training session during the break lol... the good ole days not too long ago.

The AC performance was good... though i screwed up here and there, but concerts are concerts and things do happen, gosh will really miss these AC band peeps... Today i went back to AC again and during their practice i was mugging 1st 3 months for maths,
sumation and APGP, weirdest topics ever, but then again, should have expected this... NJ doesn't cater to individual needs, they assume that everyone are great geniuses.

Went for NJ band prac today, heard their intonation and stuff, gosh i miss pure temprement... they can really change the mood of any piece. Mr Ho is nice oh wait, he is Proffesor Ho... nice name rite? I got this 30 year old clarinet which looks super ancient. Have trouble playing the B key... hope can get it fixed soon or something.

I really wonder, whether life is meant to be fun or are we supposed to labour studiously for the Country, when you work, who benifits? The country... you work under a company in which profits go back to the government, even if you are a boss or self-employed, you'll be taxed and it goes to the government, life has to be definitely more than this...

It's official... i'm leaving another school... again!

Am i really meant to go where i am supposed to? for now I noe that I should be thankful to God for where he has posted me to. But i guess now i havn't seen his plan for me yet.

Band Camp

Just came back from band camp, got diarrhoea now... the band camp has been plagued with these cases, tt's y afternoon practice was cancelled. Just drank honey water my mum made, hope it gets better...

I have never blown my clarinet for such a long period within the day before... really really intensive practice, but hey... esplanade performances must be good rite?

1st nite was freezing, 16 degrees without any cover, must really thank william for suffering with me. We couldn't sleep so we walked out to the corridors and talked some crap, almost wanted to move the sleeping bag out... then when we looked at the window, from our room, we couldn't see outside at all because of all the condensation, that was how cold it was! In the end, we decided to use the sleeping bag as a blanket and slept on the floor because the floor was warmer than the air!

2nd day we all had prata... and after that cases of stomach aches and diarrhoea started appearing. But i managed to hold it back until now. Combined was better today, or at least Dr Lee didn't start scolding in chinese. And from one of his scoldings i learnt that garlic when brown is bitter and before that is sweet, u learn new thigns everyday.

The night games was fun... because my group never got any of the seniors, heard they did some creepy stuff. We had to find all the body parts of this disfigured doll. And at the aircon fans, i stuck my hands into some blood worms which really really smell like crap... had to wash at least 5 times to get the smell out. Other places were NL 14, sunken gallery, backstage of the hall and room 6.8

Those are the highlights of the camp... the rest of it was intensive practice! but only 4 more combined before the performance! Gosh, time flies like a passing wind...

Sentosa

Woke up at 730 today.. the alarm rang at 7. but slept for 30 mins extra. Then rushed breakfast and frantically rushed to harbourfront... my classmates are pro... i was the earliest. In the end we waited until 830 when the meeting time was 800. Not tt late i guess.

Then we got to Sentosa, and took the blue line to Siloso beach. then we dumped our stuff at the shelter next to the beach soccer court. Started playing then XL scary, slide like no one's business, then after that everyone began sliding. Then we all rembak the ball so many times. Then play 10 mins.... it happened again... injured XL again... suay. So we all rested before playing volleyball. Voleeyball... it isn't my cup of tea, so lets just leave it at that.

At this time we were all burning, so Luigi and me went to 7-11 to get the drinks. 1 tip, do not walk from Siloso to Palawan ever..... 1.2 km of barefooted burning sand. Getting the drinks, took the red line back to Siloso.

When we got back, then XL and Johnny both testing their goalie skills. i beat Johnny on the 4th shot and Johnny beat XL on his 4th, so all even. Then NS came and we played against them, not bad 2 - 2, but i sub out dam fast. the guy slide into my shin, super pain, got mark there now, but later got back into the game and played more defensive. After awhile, cannot tahan, the scorching sand set ablazed to our feet as we became humji and hide under our shelter...

Pam, Mingwei and Clem were at delifrance, so we took all our stuff and met them at delifrance. Wayne got to delifrance after his T&F training. Finishing out lunch we went back to Siloso... then super suay, met the band ppl there then i wanted to run, but still kena caught, so dumped into the water with the friendship song, the irony....

Got back to my classmates with my soaking clothes then played ultimate frisbee and then volleyball again. Then after that got tired, so we all just slacked and talk crap... 1SC4, there is NO class that can talk or find as much fun crap as u guys sia... the content of the talk is unsuitable for all audiences. :p

After slacking around for a while longer, i joined the band ppl for basketball. Grace is pro, tt's all i can say, and wa... screwed my sandals after the game. Time to look for new sandals, maybe i go buy tomolo or something. Then after that went back to SC4 to talk more crap again... once again

After SC4 left, went back to band... active sia, hop here and there. Then we all left for harbourfront for dinner. At the foodcourt met SC4 eating also. After dinner, went to play pool... I can hit balls into the holes... too bad the ball always seems to be the cue ball, sad.

After that, went home and called mei, and the usual sighing.... haiz... lol. I wonder why it's unhealthy though, but heard it from my band senior. I must find out some day...

Church BBQ

Went to Andrew's house for a bbq.
risk.scheme.dawn and i. backstab. unbelievable.lester.took control. bbq set up. charcoal. table tennis. eat food. drinks. match. lost lost won. house. number game. home.

Missing ACJC

Hmmmm.... since i mite leave ACJC... time to look back abt it... lol i wonder y i look more backwards than forwards, so i'm not a forward-looking person, don't have one of the principals of Good Governence... argh SS, done with it lol.

The things i miss about ACJC, the environment where one can play and work lol one of the few JC's where playing is still possible.

Will miss 1SC4. U guys roc lol. though weren't used to u guys at the start, quite a big shift from my guai class of 4A, but yea... fun-loving people u guys are. I now know how to curse in 5 languages, english, chinese, hokkien, malay and filipino. Hmmmm a little bit on everyone from 1SC4 :

Petrina(sounds like katrina): Super smart :p top so many tests and fellow 7 pointer. Same class as me for swimming lol... learning freestyle

Cheryl(class rep): 6 pointer and 3rd student of MGS.... smart. Going to HCI. Don't let me pon even 1 period of class

Donna(cedar scholar): another smart person..... gosh my class so many smart peeps, she's transfering combi, so things i dunno cannot ask already... haiz will be diff schools anyways.

Pamela (Pam Po Hazel Tang): scholar as well also very very smart... learned all the advanced things already back in her country and she's *secret* years old

Brenda(Hui Fen): Lent me chicken soup for the soul book in chinese! lol nice person to talk to... straight A's student.... another smart one... all A's

Siew Hui(Swimmer): never knew she was in the swimming team lol, good in chinese tt time in her group super lucky lol

Mingwei(Chinese): The top chinese person in my class.... also got chinese accent, so smart until goin to RJC

Emily(Pon Queen): not porn but pon.... really dunno how many times she pon le... then she got some skill to make MCs pop out of no where. Parent's letter also... she's going to HCI

Luigi(G-man): this guy rox man... O lvls not so good but hopefully he can make it back to AC. Super diligent and nitrogen about everything! I think about 5 CCAs?

Daryl(Stunt Biker): haha all the best in goin to TJC... can crap with u all the wushu stuff and ur stunt biking.

YiYi(CIP rep): haha this guy only thinks about girls, come to AC becoz of girls lol and whole day non-stop talk about girls one ya....

Then of course got my OG Galbeth!!! U guys rox always, help me settle a little but into the AC environment. But i guess we all settle into our seperate classes liao. When Kel gets back make sure invite me for the outing... and have more OG outings i need to mantain wat little social life i have lol... well tt's it for now.... gosh blog so much

Gosh... really didn't expect to get wat i got! 7 pts! Praise the Lord!!! But really... we should praise him all the time, under all circumstances.

Eng 2 Humans 1 Maths 1 Amaths 1 Bio 1 Chem 2 Physic 1 and the one got the highest! Chinese 6! lol the irony...

Hmmm pon school today... shouldn't have...
The irony of getting 7 pts.... i really hacn't got a clue on where i wanna go to now... cant stand it... maybe i'll just stay in ac, maybe not, wa... never ever ever ever expected 7.... lol....

But really.... now i officially close this chapter in my life. Results as good as it is, i think wat is more important to me are the frenships i made. The tradition of studying with william b4 every bio test at sum fast food restaurant. Goin to mabel's house with the noisy mah jong aunties lol. CNY Eve

It's about 1 hour+ to CNY...
A year has passed again, one year ago i was watching Peter Pan with my cousins again. This year dunno, maybe haf another cousins outing? Will see tomolo.

So many things are happening to me now, its like a whole new load has been added, i do hope i'll be able to cope. But really, if life doesn't get tougher, wouldn't it just get more dull everyday? Trails and Tribulations, maybe i should start seeing my life like this?

Should I move to SAJC, NJC? or just remain in ACJC? Today was super odd.... wearing SA shirt, bday present from my mei. Should I go there? Really dunno... it'll be pretty dumb to change school just because of 1 person rite? But i really dunno, dunno what God wants for me now... guess i'll let him choose my path for this decision, Lord, I place this decision in your hands, watever it may be, I'll follow.

Today my class is super pro. More than half my class pontang, then this friday i think quite alot of ppl pon also... fun rite? Maybe i should pon also, but missing 1 day in JC is sumthing like missing out 1 whole topic in any subject... so it's like kinda dumb.

Finally figured out mabel and steffi's language lol, it'll be fun saying it in school on Friday.

My reunion dinner today was nice to see my relatives again. But really... me and my cousins are a world apart, they go underaged clubbing at MS, stay out like no one's business and other stuff liddat. A part of me wants to be like them, really dunno y, family bonds or sth...
